The Book of Acts

 Whether you are a longtime believer or someone still considering the claims of Christ, this passage challenges every listener with the same question that faced Agrippa: What will you do with Jesus Christ? 

 This message reminds us that every believer has a testimony of God's grace, and every opportunity is an opportunity to point others to Christ. 

 This sermon explores how God often accomplishes His greatest purposes through situations that seem frustrating, delayed, or beyond our control. 

 As Felix listens to Paul's testimony, he is confronted with the truths of righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment. Rather than responding in faith, Felix delays his decision, providing a sobering reminder of the danger of putting off the call of God. 

 Through the courage of Paul's young nephew, the vigilance of the Roman commander Claudius Lysias, and God's unseen hand directing every detail, the assassination plot is exposed, and Paul is safely escorted to Caesarea. Once again, God proves that His purposes cannot be stopped by the plans of men. 

 As the proceedings become increasingly chaotic, the Lord Jesus Christ appears to Paul with words of encouragement: "Be of good cheer." Christ reminds Paul that just as he has testified in Jerusalem, he will also bear witness in Rome. This powerful passage teaches us that God's promises remain sure, even in the midst of conflict and uncertainty.
